     《创世记》2
    亚当的到来
“野地还没有草木,田间的菜蔬还没有长起来;因为主上帝还没有降雨在地上,也没有人耕地。”——《创世记》2:5

“And all the trees of the field were not yet in the ground, and every herb of the field had not yet sprung up; for the Lord God had not yet caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was no man to till the ground. ”[Genesis 2:5; Lamsa trans.]

第二章以第一章里面所被塑造的那些灵性的形象在地球上的实际展示而开始。
在《创世记》第一章,上帝(在他的心智里面)分离了众水,创造了诸海,构想了各种树木、草本植物和水果;然而在《创世记》第二章再度讲述了:“……在地上仍还没有草木……因为主上帝还没有降雨。”人(人类)在第一章里面被灵性地创造了,并且被赋予管辖全地的使命,但是在第二章:“……没有人耕种土地。”
明显地,两种不同的创造在这里被讲述。
解读使我们确信创造至今仍未结束。它仍然是没有完全展露的,一个不间断前进的过程。或许甚至今天,所有上帝为了这个层面所准备的东西仍然还没有“涌现”。
 

“不过有一道强有力的泉源从地里喷涌上来,灌溉整个地面。”——《创世记》2:6

 

“But a powerful spring gushed out of the earth, and watered all the face of the ground.”
 

上面的一节圣经同样摘自Lamsa译本。(吕振中译本:不过有泉源(或译∶雾气)从地里上来,灌溉(或译∶滋润)地面。)这个译文表明了在爱德加·凯西习惯阅读的英王詹姆斯钦定译本(King James)中缺少了一个动力说(dynamism,动力说,力本说,物力论)。钦定译本是这样:“……there went up a great mist from the earth.(国语和合本: 但有雾气从地上腾。” )   《约伯记》中的一个段落和几则爱德加·凯西生命解读的关联揭露了在这第六节经文中的一个重大的隐藏意义。    水象征了在这个地球上的生命源泉,且是灵的第一物质化。 “As is known of all, water is a necessary element in the material forces for the sustaining of life in the material plane; hence this element often is called the mother of creation. How does water, then, supply that which nourishes in this material plane? Being made up of elements in itself that are the essence of that which may truly be called spiritual in itself, it gives that association or connection between the spiritual forces acting in the material elements of the earth, or material forces; hence in entering in the kingdom of the Father is knowing and following and BEING those elements that supply the needs of that which builds in the material plane towards the continuity of the spiritual forces manifest in the earth. So, one enters, then, through that door with the Savior, that brings that necessary force in the life of others, and in saving others saves self. How came the Son of man the way that leads to perfection in heaven and in earth? 震惊世界的“水结晶”试验

 “强有力的泉源”暗示了灵的一个明确的和动态的活动;由于它在原文中的关联,它还与亚当的到来互相联系。不过这里正象征着什么活动?在《约伯记》第38章(解读声称《约伯记》是由麦基洗德所写,他是后来化身为耶稣的灵魂的一个早期的转世),永恒主对约伯说,当“晨星一同歌唱;上帝的众子也都欢呼”的时候“大地的根基被确立”。在生命解读中,凯西能够为几位个体追溯到一个地球最初的经历,时间被确定在“当上帝的众子一同来到”的这个时期,而这也是“一道强有力的泉源从地里喷涌上来”所象征性地描述的相同事件。 “……in the beginning, when all forces were given in the spiritual force, and the morning stars sang to-gether in the glory of the coming of the Lord and the God to make the giving of man's influence and[the] developing in the world's forces.[this entity was there]”(2497-1) “……在太初,当所有的驱策力在灵性的驱策力中被赋予,当晨星在上主的到来以及上帝赋予人类在这个世界的驱策力中的影响和发展之荣耀中一同歌唱之时。[这个实体曾在那里。]”——(2497-1) “……when the earth's forces were called into existence, and the Sons of God came to-gether, and the sounding of the coming of the Man was given,…… This entity was there. ”(234-1)

这就是灵的动态活动!
“[This entity was]in the beginning, when the first of the elements were given, and the forces set in motion that brought about the sphere …… called [the] earth plane, and when the morning stars sang to-gether, and the whispering winds brought the news of the coming of man's indwelling, of the spirit of the Creator, became the living soul. This entity came into being with this multitude.”(294-8)

两位个体被告知他们曾经是这个宇宙事件的灵性信使。
“……in the days when the Sons of God came together to reason in the elements as to the appearance of Man in physical on earth's plane, and this entity was among those chosen as the messenger to all the realm.”(137-4)

“选民”的起源是始于正如下面所描述的这些实体,他们选择使天国的“驱策力”通过“被称作人类的生物”来展示。 “When the forces of the Universe came together, when there was upon the waters the sound of the coming together of the Sons of God, when the morning stars sang together, and over the face of the waters there was the voice of the glory of the coming of the plane for man's dwelling.”(341-1) “当宇宙的各种驱策力一起到来,当众水之上有上帝的儿子们一起到来的声音,当晨星一起歌唱,在众水的面上有着荣耀的声音,是关于此层面作为人类的居住点的到来。”(341-1)  “When the earth in its form became a place, and afterward able to be an abode for the creature called man, and the entity chose that through this manner it, that entity, that part of the whole, would ——would——would——through these creatures ——make manifest Heaven and Heaven's forces through those elements.”(341-8) “当地球以它的形式成为一个地方,且之后能够成为一个给被称为人类的生物的住所,此实体选择通过这种方式,它,此实体,那整体的一部分,将会——将会通过这些生物——使天国和天国的驱策力通过那些元素展示出来。” (341-8)  上帝的众子们的到来对一位灵魂产生了一种印象,这在其后的万古时期一直支撑着它。 “……when the Sons of God came to-gether to announce the coming of man's dwelling on the earth plane. Hence we find the first preparation or estate, or manner in which those souls might through material manifestation acclaim - by the living, by the being - that which was and is and ever will be consistent with the purposes of creation - was given into the estate of man.

The entity was among those first who through those channels came into consciousness, awareness of the relationships of the material man to the Creative Forces; that came into material activity during the early portions of man's CONSCIOUSNESS of being an independent entity, or body, in a material existence.”(257-201) “当灵魂们通过投射自身进入物质来寻求或达到在物质界的展示——正如成为思想体——当这已经如此地引诱创造主的同伴或者灵魂们,于是我们开始有了那个创造,在其中“上帝将生气吹在人类(上帝所造)里面,他就成了有灵的活人”,带有各种能力以成为像神一般的。因此我们发现最初的预备或者产业,或者说方式,那些灵魂透过其可以通过物质的展示来欢呼——通过生命,通过存在——那曾经是和现在是并且永远将会是与创造的目的一致的——被赋予于人类的产业之中。此实体曾在那些最初通过那些通道意识到物质人类与原创力(Creative Forces)之关系的实体当中;那些在人类的早期意识到在一个物质的存在里面作为一个独立的实体——或者说身体——而进入物质的活动的实体当中。”(257-201)  亚当和他的后裔代表了那些通过缔造主的心智而进入地球的灵魂,也就是说与《创世记》第一章中所描绘的模式相一致。 “The earth and the universe, as related to man, came into being through the MIND - MIND - of the Maker, and, as such, has its same being much as each atomic force multiplies in itself, or, as worlds are seen and being made in the present period, and as same became (earth we are speaking of) an abode for man, man entered as man, through the MIND of the Maker, see? in the form of flesh MAN; that which carnally might die, decay, become dust, entering into material conditions. For, of the dust of the earth was the body-physical created. But the WORD, the MIND, is the controlling factor of its shape, its activity, from the source, the spiritual - the spiritual entity.

Thus there are within the abilities of each soul that ability to choose that as will keep the body, the mind, the portion of the spirit, attuned to holiness - or oneness with him. ”(263-13)

 

“因为,难道肉体生命不是由所有其他那些生长发展的东西所造的吗?因为,肉体身体是从尘从土中被创造。但是道,心智,是它的形状、活动的控制因素,来自源头,灵性的——灵性的实体。
因此,在每个灵魂里面有着那能力,以选择那将会使身体、心智、灵的部分调谐到神圣的——与他合一。” (263-13)

 

 

那些带着这个觉知进入的人在他们自身里面找到了“征服这地”的能力。

……“SUBDUE the earth." For all therein has been given for man's purpose, for man's convenience, for man's understanding, for man's interpreting of God's relationship to man. And when man makes same only a gratifying, a satisfying of self, whether in appetite, in desire, in selfish motives for self-aggrandizement, self-exaltation, these become - as from old - stumblingblocks. But he that hath put off the old and put on the new is regenerated in the new Adam, in the last Adam, in the Christ.

    And as many as have done so may find in themselves that Knowledge of His presence abiding with them; so that things, conditions, circumstances, environs, no longer become stumblingblocks - rather have they become stepping-stones for the greater view wherein they each may gain at least in part first, gradually growing in grace, in the understanding to know those glories, those beauties God hath prepared for them that know the way of the Cross WITH the Christ as the good shepherd.(262-99)

 

“……“征服这地。”因为在其中的所有一切已经为了人类的目的,人类的便利,人类的明悟,人类对于上帝与人类的关系的诠释而被赋予了。而当人类使这些只不过成为一种自我的满足,不论是在喜好上,在欲望上,在自私的动机上,为了自我的扩大,为了自我的高举,这些将成为——正如从古至今——绊脚石。但那脱去了旧人并穿戴新人的人是在新亚当、最后的亚当——基督里面重生。

那些带着光进入的灵魂们进入了与这个层面的各种自然元素的互相和谐一致。
 

“And, as was given, be thou wise - not in thine own conceit, but in the wisdom of the Lord, and SUBDUE the earth; or MAKING these, as it were, coordinant with that which is in thine own body, mind and soul.

For, when the earth was brought into existence or into time and space, all the elements that are WITHOUT man may be found in the LIVING human body.

    Hence these in coordination, as we see in nature, as we see in the air, as we see in the fire or in the earth, makes the soul, body and mind ONE coordinating factor with the universal creative energy we call God.”(557-3)

 

“正如已被告知的,你若有智慧(出自《箴言》9:12)——并非以你自己的自负,而是在上主的智慧之中,征服这地;或者说使这些——正如它曾经的——与那在你自己的身体、心智和灵魂里面的相协调一致。
因为,当地球被产生被带进时空之时,所有在人类之外的元素都可以在活生生的人类身体里面被找到。

……the greater meaning of the word Israel - those called of God for a service before the fellow man. (587-6)

For those who seek are indeed Israel, and Israel indeed is ALL who seek; meaning not those as of the children of Abraham alone, but of every nation, every tribe, every tongue, - Israel of the Lord! That is the full meaning of Israel. (2772-1))

“When there was in the beginning a man's advent into the plane known as earth, and it became a living soul, amenable to the laws that govern the plane itself as presented, the Son of man entered earth as the first man. Hence the Son of man, the Son of God, the Son of the first Cause, making manifest in a material body. This was not the first spiritual influence, spiritual body, spiritual manifestation in the earth, but the first man - flesh and blood; the first carnal house, the first amenable body to the laws of the plane in its position in the universe.  FOR, THE EARTH IS ONLY AN ATOM IN THE UNIVERSE OF WORLDS!”(5749-3) “当起初之时人类出现在我们所知的地球的层面上,它成为了一个活着的灵魂,顺服于支配此层面本身的律法,人之子作为最初的人类进入地球。因此,人之子,上帝之子,第一因之子展示于一个物质的身体之中。这并非最初的灵性影响力,灵性的身体,灵性的展示于此地球上,而是最初的人类——血与肉;最初的肉体的房子,最初的顺服的身体,顺服于宇宙中此位置层面的律法。因为,地球只不过是宇宙众世界中的一个原子!” (5749-3)           当人类被构造了之后,上帝“将生气吹在他鼻孔里,他就成了有灵的活人(breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul)。”这与第七日的创造相类似,当各种的形象被构造,上帝歇息了并且使他的灵流入这模式里面,赋予他的创造以生命。下面的解读使我们对这节圣经有了新的洞见。(Q) Please explain: "He breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost."
(A) ……As the breath of life was breathed into the body of the man, see, so breathed He that of love and hope into the experience of those who were to become witnesses of Him in the material world.

 (Q) John 21:25. Does this verse have reference to the beginning as Adam?
(A) In the same manner of beginning, yes. (5749-10)

(Q) Where does the soul come from, and how does it enter the physical body?
(A) It is already there. "and He breathed into him the breath of life, and he became a living soul", as the breath, the ether from the forces as come into the body of the human when born breathes the breath of life, as it becomes a living soul, provided it has reached that developing in the creation where the soul may enter and find the lodging place.
All souls were created in the beginning, and are finding their way back to whence they came.

(Q) Where does the soul go when fully developed?
(A) To its Maker. (3744-5)

 

(问)灵魂从何而来,它是怎样进入物质的身体的?
(答)它已经存在。当“他将生命的气息吹进他里面,他就成了一个活着的灵魂(有灵的活人)”,当气息,来自驱策力的以太进入人类的身体里面,当诞生时呼吸生命的气息,当它成为一个活着的灵魂,提供它达到那个在创造中的发展,在这里面灵魂可以进入并且找到借宿之地。所有的灵魂在太初被造,且正在寻找回到他们所出之处的道路。

下面的解读暗示了一种宇宙意识的状态。
(Q) [Explain]The Holy Breath?
(A)^…… As we say, the All-Seeing Eye of God, the All-Seeing Eye of self can only be attained when in attune to God. And when attuned, He hath breathed the Holy Breath on the activity of the entity. (2533-8)
(问)[请解释]圣息?
(答)……正如我们所说,上帝的全见之眼,自身的全见之眼唯有当调谐到上帝的时候才能获得。当调谐之时,他已将神圣的气息吹在那实体的活动之中。(2533-8)
 

这种新人种的展示地点,以及亚当的个体灵魂,是在“伊甸里的一个向东的花园”里面。(译注:《创世记》2:8,KJV译本,a garden eastward in Eden)
“向东的(Eastward)”是太阳的方向。因此乐园的位置象征了一种与所有生命之源泉紧密相联的状态。人类以及乐园都是上帝意识的投射。
“伊甸”并不是作为一个地方而重要,而是作为一种状态,是在地球上的灵魂们所表达的一种意识。它曾是许多灵魂的物质界经历,且它的一个记录已经在地球上的所有部分被留下。
“主上帝使各样的树从地里长出来,可以悦人的眼目,其上的果子好作食物。园子当中又有生命树和分别善恶的树。”——《创世记》2:9

“And out of the ground the LORD God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food, the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”(Genesis 2:9)
乐园是一个字面意义上的事实,是这个世界曾经一度的一种实际上的状态和条件,但同样象征了人类的身体。后来这身体被教师们指为“圣殿”,例如耶利米,保罗和约翰。耶稣指出他自己的身体是“圣殿”。(《约翰福音》2:21)但是在一开始的时候它被称为“乐园”。
 知识树(the Tree of Knowledge)的存在暗示了从一开始就存在着完美人类与他的源头分离之可能性。天父上帝意识到这个可能性,然而并不知道它是否、如何、或者什么时候会发生,直到灵魂,通过它自己的选择,导致了这样的情形。
 我们在这个要点上回想起约书亚那时正在帮助摩西写作和诠释这个神话。
 这两棵树在他后来所作出的伟大声明中的两个原则里面被反映,这在解读中频频被引用:
 

“善与恶,生与死,摆在你的面前,今日你可以选择你将要事奉(serve)的。至于我和我家,我们必定事奉永生的上帝。(There is set before you good and evil, life and death, choose thou this day whom you will serve. As for me and my house, we will serve the Living God.)” (出自《申命记》30:15,《约书亚记》24:15)
 

这两条灵性原则至今仍然存在,正如在一开始的时候。一个灵魂可以选择始终如一地食用来自生命树的果子,并因此维系他与源头的连结;或者是用他的存在来经历这个世界上的事物,以一种会带给他知识的方式,然而将会导致内在的灵的分离和最终的死亡。
 

“死亡不会立即到来, 甚至不会在一个时期中,但如果灵魂继续在罪里面,继续“去吃”,那么它将从因与果的律法中收获它的业力。”(凯西布道)
 

六百年之后亚当死去了。
 

“And again He has said, as He showed the way, as He fulfilled in giving His life, "In the day ye eat thereof ye shall surely die." Yet the tempter said, "Not surely die," for it may be put off; and it was - six hundred years - and yet death came, the pangs of the loss of self.”(3188-1)
 

“再次他已经说过,当他展示那道路,当他应验于付出他的生命,‘ 当你吃的日子必定死!’然而那诱惑者说,‘不一定死,’因为它可能被延迟;它是——六百年——然后死亡到来了,那迷失自我的剧痛。” (3188-1)
 

 

                 一个灵魂群组
“有河从伊甸流出来、灌溉那园子,从那里分支、成了四道(河的源头)。”——《创世记》2:10  (吕振中译本)
“And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became four heads.”
 

在第十节中我们再度回到了一个水的象征——带有四个源头(four heads)的河。自然界中的河流只有一个源头并分为各支流。因此,这个河并不像地球上任何的河流,而必定是进入地球的一种灵性影响力的象征。这个河与第六节的“强有力的泉源”相同。
亚当是一个“神人”(god-man),第一个通过那“光”、与那“光”合一而进入地球的,他进入作为一个有灵的活人(a living soul),展示着《创世记》第一章中的灵性形象。

Hence, when there came the necessity in the realm of the spiritual home for the coming of the Lamb into the earth for its redemption, the Truth, the light, the offering was made. Hence the expression as given. ……Then, when we comprehend we realize there is no time, no space, and that the divinity of the man Jesus was perfect in his OWN activity in the earth. For, it was offered even from the first……”(262-57)

(A) One of the five points. As has been given, in what is known as Gobi, India, in Carpathia [?], or in that known as the Andes, and that known as in the western plain of what is now called America - the five places.

In their presentation, as we find, these - in the five places, as MAN.(Let's get the difference in that as first appeared[as thought-forms] in what is known as Atlantis, and that as MAN appearing from those projections in the five places - and, as has been given, from their environ took on that as became necessary for the meeting of those varying conditions under which their individualities and personalities began to put on form) - one in the white, another in the brown, another in the black, another in the red.(364-9)

In the first, or that known as the beginning, or in the Caucasian and Carpathian, or the Garden of Eden, in that land which lies now much in the desert, yet much in mountain and much in the rolling lands there. The extreme northern portions were then the southern portions, or the polar regions were then turned to where they occupied more of the tropical and semi-tropical regions; hence it would be hard to discern or disseminate the change. The Nile entered into the Atlantic Ocean. What is now the Sahara was an inhabited land and very fertile. What is now the central portion of this country, or the Mississippi basin, was then all in the ocean; only the plateau was existent, or the regions that are now portions of Nevada, Utah and Arizona formed the greater part of what we know as the United States. That along the Atlantic board formed the outer portion then, or the lowlands of Atlantis. The Andean, or the Pacific coast of South America, occupied then the extreme western portion of Lemuria. The Urals and the northern regions of same were turned into a tropical land. The desert in the Mongolian land was then the fertile portion. This may enable you to form SOME concept of the status of the earth's representations at that time! The oceans were then turned about; they no longer bear their names, yet from whence obtained they their names? What is the legend, even, as to their names?(364-13)

在第九节里面,分辨善恶树(the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil)的存在被确认;在第十七节里,当上帝的众子进入地球中,他们被明确地告知他们与这棵“树”的关系应当如何。
疏忽留意这个警告将会导致同样的领悟与觉知的迷失,正如那先于地球的创造之前的灵性黑暗一样。
“For that purpose came He into the earth, that man might have the advocate with the Father, that there might be completed that as He had given, "In the day ye eat thereof, ye shall surely die." In the day thou sinnest, ye have destroyed, then, that something in thine consciousness that must be paid, that must be met in thyself.”(3028-1)

根据一份凯西解读,这一节包含了一个隐藏的含义。
“Hence, it is given in thy writings of Scripture (although in a hidden manner, ye may observe if ye will look) how Adam named those that were brought before him in creation. Their NAME indicates to the carnal mind their relationships in the sex condition or question.”(5747-3)

对同伴的渴望在上帝里面是固有的,也即是创造灵魂们的第一因。灵魂们,以上帝形象被创造,带有同样的渴望。
“The story, the tale (if chosen to be called such), is one and the same. The apple, as 'the apple of the eye', the desire of that companionship innate in that created, as innate in the Creator, that brought companionship into the creation itself. Get that one!”(364-5)

随着动物王国的进化,灵魂们开始使用各种不同阶段的动物生命作为负面的驱策力用于他们的投射。最初这在灵性上发生,通过思想体的创造。最终,当这些思想体通过已经被投射进他们里面的生命力量而变得越来越具体成形化和顽固化时,他们成为了活生生的生物并且开始在地球上居住——一种思想体与动物生命的混合物。巨大的怪物逐步形成了,许多其他的肮脏的和非自然的生物出现了,它们最终在大洪水的时期被消灭。
有趣的是我们注意到英文詹姆斯钦定版译本的第十九节,当动物们被带到他的面前,是首次提及“亚当”这个名字。在此之前他仅仅被称作“那人(the man)”。Lamsa译本则从头到尾指称“亚当”。天主教新美国圣经(The Catholic New American Bible)则完全只使用“那人(the man)”。
自由主义神学家们宣称《创世记》是对于人类历史上的进化事件一个象征性的描述,创造自一旦意识已经形成的早期人类的思索。“那人”或者“亚当”,是整个人类大家庭的拟人化。一些人认为摩西意识到有其他的人类生命形式,但他代表了最高的层次,最先进的层次,故他的描述并非关于整体的人类,而只是关于他的种族,也就是优秀的层次。人类学者断言人类从较低的生命形式进化,而并不是被“创造”的。

根据凯西的解读,两种立场都找到了大量的事实,但是没有哪一者代表了“全部的真理”。进化是有的,人类的肉体框架是按照灵长类动物的最高形式塑造的——类人猿。类人猿被用来作为一种模式。但是灵魂,带有它的意识和创造力,甚至改进了那种形式。因此人类出现了。那时曾有着一整组的第一父母,一对字面意义上的亚当和夏娃。但他们同样象征了亚当人种全部五条路线的所有“第一父母”,同时是当时正在展示的许多各种各样的“灵魂生命(soul-life)”形式的最高层次。
亚当寻找帮手(helper),或者说“配偶(helpmeet)”,暗示了一个更大的模式。生命解读展示了许多上帝的儿子们与阿弥勒斯(Amilius)(也就是亚当)一起进入作为帮手。
一位妇女在她的解读中问道:
 

(Q) In Atlantis, was I associated with Amilius? If so, how?
(A) One as projected by that entity as to a ruler or GUIDE for many, with its associating entity. (288-29)

那时许多“陷落”的灵魂有着兽蹄,鳞片,鱼鳍等等,作为他们物质身体的部分。
一位凯西圣经班的学生在她的解读中被告知:
 

“THIS entity was the companion of that beginning of activity in the Atlantean land. Thus, not as the mother of creation of those activities, but as an advisor to those who would change in their form of activities; or the attempts as later expressed in the entity of being rid of the appendages of materiality. ”(2454-3)

“The land was among those in which there was the first appearance of those that were as separate entities or souls disentangling themselves from material or that we know as animal associations. For the projections of these had come from those influences that were termed Lemure, or Lemurian, or the land of Mu.

These then we find as the period when there was the choice of that soul that became in its final earthly experience the Savior, the Son in the earth indwellings, or of those as man sees or comprehends as the children of men. ”(877-10)

或许在第19节里面,当英王詹姆斯钦定本把通用的术语“那人”改为特指的“亚当”,我们有了一个注意力的转移,从集体的和代表性的人种经历转移到具体的、单一的、和独特的亚当的经历,也就是后来成为了耶稣的灵魂。阿弥勒斯(Amilius)(也就是亚当)是这整个运动的首领,且正是通过他的选择,性的问题或疑问被解决。
摆在亚当面前的问题是他如何能够在地球上产生或者繁殖一个他自己的类属,也就是种类。
亚当并非转向动物王国,而是利用在他自身里面的灵性资源来增殖他的“配偶”。
 

“主上帝使他沉睡,他就睡了;于是取下他的一条肋骨,又把肉合起来。 耶和华上帝就用那人身上所取的肋骨造成一个女人,领她到那人跟前。”(《创世记》2:21-22)
 

(And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.)
 

“沉睡”暗示了一种冥想的状态。
 

“These are, as seen, the records made by the man in the mount[Moses] that this Amilius  - Adam, as given - first discerned that from himself, not of the beasts about him, could be drawn - WAS drawn - that which made for the propagation OF beings IN the flesh, that made for that companionship as seen by creation in the material worlds about same.”(364-5)

“As to their forms in the physical sense, these were much RATHER of the nature of THOUGHT FORMS, or able to push out OF THEMSELVES in that direction in which its development took shape……”(364-3)

这并非意味着亚当劈开了或者分割了他的灵魂,也并不是说夏娃是一个低级的创造。两者都是完全的实体(entity, 实体,存在,本质),完整的灵魂,并且,正如上面的解读所指示的,都“天生具有[他们的]缔造主的所有那些能力和驱策力。”
    亚当能够从他自己的身体投射出负极的实质(substance,实质、本质、实体、本体、物质),另一个灵魂——通过压制它的正极——能够透过其来展示。

夏娃身体的创造,由自身之中得出而不是出自动物王国,是一个灵性的生产,一种无玷的孕育形式。所表示的是亚当的后裔们当时在实践这种繁殖的形式,直到挪亚和大洪水的时期。挪亚之后,这种知识普遍失传了,但是通过童贞产子(Virgin Birth)再度恢复(或者说再度记起)。

结合相反的驱策力,正极的和负极的,雄性的和雌性的,把它们带到一个创造性的平衡,并稳定与我们“对手”的关系,成为了重返及与合一之灵重新联合的道路。
